]]>:) Another highlight which I know you are all looking forward to is Sonic Unleashed due out later this month, expect plenty of coverage very soon.

Above all though I'm looking forward to implementing the all new version of FastFeet Media over the next week or two. Expect a sleek and simple layout along with some nifty features too. I can reveal that several videos will be released shortly along with the lines of Summer of Sonic, Sega Europe visits etc. So apologies if any responses are a little slow at the moment - all will be back up and running very shortly. Sonic Chronicles Soundtrack Available and some more Updates!http://www.fastfeetmedia.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=142Posted by FastFeet on Sunday 12th October 2008 01:57pm
]]>read it here). I did give the soundtrack a fairly good rating so have a read of the review to see what I said about it, but without further adieu I have added a rip of the Sonic Chronicles soundtrack which has been provided by The Sonic Stadium (much love to the stadium!). But if you want a super high speed connection to download the tracks visit the Sonic Chronicles section on the FTP Hub by clicking here.

On a quick side note though I've been doing a lot of thinking over the last few days about how FastFeet Media has been doing since launch. Bottom line is I'm not too happy with the way things are going and undoubtedly you all want to see more content appearing and more frequently at that too. So there will be a number of changes happening to the site in the next couple of weeks hopefully, whether its for the better or worse is up to you guys, but after seeing how the site has been doing its time for a change - more on this soon.

Finally for the moment Sonic Unleashed is the next BIG title coming out in just over a month, so expect to see a playtest right here from FastFeet Media very shortly - stay tuned folks a lot of good is going to be happening very soon :)]]>

The September Updatehttp://www.fastfeetmedia.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=136Posted by FastFeet on Friday 19th September 2008 01:13am
]]>
Personally I haven't had much time to attend to FastFeet Media what with a full-time job an' all :p Although I have been doing my bit to help promote Sega's upcoming console releases including Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Chronicles and Samba de Amigo! I've also had a new PC built up from scratch to help get things moving on the editing and ripping of media here at FastFeet Media, this will hopefully mean more audio and video available on the FTP Hub in due time.

Speaking of the hub, I do have a fair few new tracks and albums to add on, along with the Sonic Chronicles soundtrack to be added sometime soon. It's been a while since Summer of Sonic '08 in London, I do have plenty of videos from the day sitting here on the PC so I will get them together and add them via our upcoming SEGASonic:TV channel. I'd also like to mention the arrival of the first new skin on FastFeet Media and whilst it is more of a redesign it will mould into the sites content far better throughout current and future areas of the website. I'm liking the new layout far better as it is simpler, cleaner and focuses on the websites content far better. Stay tuned as it won't be long until the new skin will be added online.

There have been a number of requests for affiliation to FastFeet Media, I will get back to all of you who have emailed me as soon as I get a chance so hold on for a tad longer :) Anyways I need to head off as I'm busy as usual, but keep an eye out for Sonic Chronicles released later this month - looks tasty ^^]]>

DoubleDMix Going Independent/Resignation from Fastfeet Mediahttp://www.fastfeetmedia.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=131Posted by DoubleDMix on Friday 29th August 2008 01:36pm
]]> Dan "DoubleDMix" Dyer here with my first, and last news post as part of Fastfeet Media.
Yes, After almost 3 whole years working as part of this growing site, I'm formally giving up my post on FFM and going independent, This also means that my DoubleDMix studios are coming with me to my first independent venture, The DoubleDMix Network.

The reasons behind my leaving are because of the fact that FFM doesn't feel as fresh and exciting as it was those 3 years ago, and I've also moved onto better things, With what can be considered "rivals" to FFM wanting me aswell. So alas, Just because i'm leaving FFM doesn't mean that i'm leaving the community. How could I leave the sonic community after the awesomness that was Summer of Sonic just some 3 weeks ago! But yeah, I'll still be around, more of an independent well..Contractor I guess. So don't hesitate to ask for help should you want it.

Finally, I Would like to thank everyone at FFM who's made me feel like family for the past 3 years, Even if, Admittedly, We all didn't get on. So thank you.
But, Obviously...My biggest thanks goes to Fastfeet, Without him I would never have become staff within FFM, And I would never have become part of such an awesome community. So thank you dude, You've helped me a lot!

So yeah, This is is. Thanks to all who made my time here great, And yeah, I'll be around still, so don't hesitate to wanna chat to me, I'm always around :)

Thank you, and Farewell FFM! Good luck for the future.

The morning after the Summer of Sonic...http://www.fastfeetmedia.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=114Posted by FastFeet on Sunday 10th August 2008 12:22pm
]]>
I showed up a little later than planned to find everything in the hall was ready to go, I was largely keeping an eye on the stage throughout the day whilst people like ArchAngelUK, Dreadknux, Sonic Yoda, B'man, T-Bird, Zizou, Mike Taylor, Vger, Urtheart, Roarey Racoon, Roareye, Violet were all there to help run the event along with various other people who came to assist the days proceedings.

I was on stage straight away practically and started DJ-ing and mixing up some of the best and wel known pieces of music made throughout the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise (this was a Sonic convention after all!). Having spent hours the night before burning music from our own FTP Hub it all played nicely with the crowd enjoying the music not just from me, but also from fellow DJ's T-Bird, B'man, Turbo and JJ4eva.

Afterwards I spent a short (and I meant short) amount of time looking around at what was in the hall. Everything you'd want to see at a Sonic convention was there - the art corner, memorabilia, Sonic Chronicles was playable as well as a Wii demo pod. Sonic Cage Dome launched their new website (checkit out here) as well as having a Sonic 2 speed run for the Guiness book of world records and a small Sonic tournament too(which I nearly won, dammit XD). Vistors of the Sonic Stadium got a nice media treat with the first live TV broadcast made from within the hall throughout the day too.

One of the best events of the day (if not THE best) was the visitors and their attitude towards the day as a whole, nothing bad happened in fact we had people dressed as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and even Dr. Robotnik! There were some heart warming moments as well as those of dissapointment for those who missed out on some of the fantastic prizes on offer. But above all a fantastic day out for those who turned up, I've nevere seen so many Sonic fans in one place at one time!!

Some of the best6 bits of the day for me included Richard Jacques performance on stage with Sonic 3D, Outrun and NiGHTS numbers played. We also has Lee Brotherton and T.J. Elliott giving exclusive performances.

Right now I'm going to leave it there, I've still got a nice commute back home awaiting me. But the rest of this blog entry along with all the audio and video from the days events will appear on the site over the next few days, and believe me if you didnt see or show up to the event then these are going to be some tasty downloads you will want to get your hands on, expect a SEGASonic:TV exclusive to appear on the site very soon...]]>

The Summer of Sonic Blog: Part 1http://www.fastfeetmedia.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=107Posted by FastFeet on Wednesday 30th July 2008 11:09pm
]]>Summer of Sonic 2008, one of the first blogs to appear on FastFeet Media is to be written by myself and is the 'FFM SoS Blog'. So what is it? Essentially this is the first Sonic the Hedgehog convention held. Ever. And it is certainly a unique event as asides from events like E3, Tokyo Game Show, various Anime/Manga conventions etc, you don't see too many people of the video game industry or fans appear in big numbers.

The Summer of Sonic convention is to be held at the Covent Garden Hall Trust in central London on Saturday the 9th of August 2008 (10am - 6pm). Now almost certainly the convention is going to be a fantastic event for Sonic fans old and young to attend, whilst the official website will give you a good idea of what's going on and the latest happenings FastFeet Media will be covering the main news and most media related events of the day.

Now for starters if you're thinking of coming to the event you had better of signed up by now as registrations have now closed. The halls capacity is 200 as far as I'm aware and theres many more people signed up than that, not everyone will be planning to stay the entire day there so the numbers will hopefully balance out ok.

So what can visitors expect to experience throughout the day? Well there's a number of booths and attractions setup, for starters there are retro and modern gaming booths, so you can play the 16-bit days and even play the new Sonic Chronicles game due out on the DS is the next couple of months. For the artist inside you there's a artist's corner run by Elson 'Darkspeeds' Wong with some of the best sketches/artwork winning some exclusive prizes on offer. There will also be exclusive merchandise on display and everyone will get the chance to meet Sonic the Hedgehog in person!

Finally there is the main stage, on here there will be various DJ's playing some of the greatest tunes from the Sonic the Hedgehog games but I'm sure there will at least be a few Sega hits played too. On top of that we have Lee Brotherton and Richard Jacques to give exclusive performances of some of their work - old and new! Certainly unmissable performances there.

As with all conventions you'll find the usual security, small amounts of catering involved, toilet facilities as well as a front desk within the confonds of the building. Travelling is easy with nearby underground stations, with restaurants/grease outlets and cash machines also nearby to the hall. Anyways, as this is part of a blog expect more words and updates in regards to anything happening on the day as well as stage performances here on FastFeet Media. Keep an eye on the Official SoS website for the latest updates, I'm going to get to work on an overdue project that may tie in with SoS, but you'll have to keep an eye on this blog to find out what it is ;)]]>

That time of year again!http://www.fastfeetmedia.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=64Posted by Shonic on Monday 23rd June 2008 01:16pm

Another year passed! Hard to believe, no? What a way for us to bring in the anniversary, with the re-opening of the new, revamped FastFeet Media! This looks like it's gonna be a great year to come for Sonic, with Sonic Unleashed (seen the latest trailer yet? If not, watch it now! You won't regret it!) and Sonic Chronicles : The Dark Brotherhood!

This makes me wanna ask, what are your favourite memories of Sonic, and how long have you known of him? How did you find out about him, etc etc? I know this has been asked pretty much every anniversary, but I'm curious. And there is no harm in a little reminiscence! Feel free to share your memories of the lovable blue hedgie!

I guess I'll get the ball rolling. I can't really remember when I first saw Sonic, as I was a little baby (shush :P). My dad and my uncle had bought Sonic for the Mega Drive on release day, and couldn't stop playing it for days. I must have just sat there watching them or something XD. I was really happy when I recieved my very first Sonic game of my own, Sonic and Knuckles. I've had him in my life the whole time I guess and now I'm the fan you see today. Your turn!]]>

Now I will say this, the site is always having things added on and tinkered with so keep checking back to see whats new and all the great additions we're placing online. As such I haven't got everything that I wanted ready for launch (there's never enough time!), so expect more media to appear in the featured articles, SEGASonic:TV Series 2 Episode 1 to appear shortly as well as a lot of modfications too.

So what is there to do around this shiny new world?
A lot put simply, the first step you'll want to do before exploring the FastFeet Media site though is sign up for your FastFeet Media.NET Passport. This is free and as simple as signing up to a forum (because you are really!), by signing up this gives you access to all areas of the FastFeet Media site including unlimited downloads and uploads on the FTP Hub as well as complete access to the forums.

For the moment I'll keep it short and sweet and leave it like that so you can all go explore the website! But let us know what you think of the new website its been in development so long I'd like to think that a half decent job has been done to put it all together! Take it easy all - the home of Sega and Sonic media is BACK!]]>
