Here you can find all the Legal Information regarding FastFeet Media. The clauses below explain the different areas of FastFeet Meida and the law associated to them, all of which is based on U.K. law which can be found here. If you need to contact Graham ‘FastFeet’ Seward; the owner and founder of FastFeet Media regarding a legal matter, please use the contact us page.

It is the sole responsibility of the visitor to read this legal information before using any of the services on FastFeet Media and to keep up to date with any changes regardless of whether they have been published on the website homepage or elsewhere. Failure to comply will result in the visitor waiving all of their legal rights outlined on this page.

1a: FastFeet Media (FFM) was founded on the 24th of October 2003 and is copyright © Graham ‘FastFeet’ Seward 2003 – 2010. ‘FastFeet Media‘, ‘The FasFeet Media Podcast‘, ‘SEGASonic:TV‘ and all designs, images, and original content are copyright © ‘FastFeet Media’ 2003 – 2010.

1b: FastFeet Media is a non-profit organisation and as such is supported by donations. Any content generated by FFM is never charged to visitors.

1c: The purpose of this fan website is to promote and celebrate the SEGA and Sonic the Hedgehog franchises as well as the videogame industry as a whole. No harm is intended by any content published on this website.

1d: SEGA®, Sonic Team®, Sonic the Hedgehog® and all other related characters and trademarks are copyright © SEGA. This organisation is in no way affiliated with SEGA® or Sonic Team®. This website is not owned by, nor represented by SEGA.
Clause 2: The FastFeet Media website
2a: Any content or material originating from the FFM website starting with the URL “http://www.fastfeetmedia.net” is not to be modified or placed anywhere else on the Internet and/or World Wide Web without the expressed permission of Graham ‘FastFeet’ Seward of FastFeet Media.

2b: ‘Hot linking’ to any content with file extensions (except for web pages) on the FFM website is prohibited; unless it has been pre-approved by Graham ‘FastFeet’ Seward or is a link to a web page.

2c: ‘Home‘, ‘Music‘ and ‘Videos‘ sections of FastFeet Media are powered by WordPress a set of PHP coded scripts available under the GNU General Public License and as such is freeware.

2d: The FastFeet Media Forums are powered by PHPbb, a set of PHP coded scripts available under the GNU General Public License and as such is freeware.
Clause 3: Downloads Resource
3a: “Downloads” refers to the large archive of SEGA®, Sonic the Hedgehog®, Video Game media, user submitted files as well as FastFeet Media’s own in house projects. The files available via “Downloads” are made available for free and are for educational purposes only under section 9 of the Copyright and Related Rights Regulation Act of 2003.

3b: “Downloads” provides an upload facility for members only. By using the Upload facility members can submit their own files to our FTP Hub, by doing this they are agreeing and granting permission to have their material placed on FFM’s Downloads area.

3c: “Downloads” is powered by PHCDownload, a set of PHP coded scripts available under the GNU General Public License and as such is freeware.
Clause 4: SEGASonic:TV
All media (audio, images, video or otherwise) created for SEGASonic:TV is fan created, the basis for the majority of these productions is the video game character Sonic the Hedgehog®. As they are based on the fictional character of Sonic the Hedgehog®, any material created by FastFeet Media is only a means of promotional, educational and research value under section 9 of the Copyright and Related Rights Regulation Act of 2003.

If the author of any material licensed by Sega® and/or Sonic Team® feels we are in violation of this please contact us as soon as possible.

Clause 5: Privacy and Terms & Conditions
5a: All personal information collected and stored for use on the domain www.fastfeetmedia.net is held in the strictest confidence. Information is only used to store member accounts and information, and is not used for any illegal or unsolicited purposes to any 3rd parties.

5b: Optional information that members submit do so at their own risk, FastFeet Media does not take responsibility for any consequences this may cause.

5c: Member accounts that are no longer active will only be deleted if the member requests for this to be carried out by contacting FastFeet Media.

5d: Having a FastFeet Media member account is a privilege. If a member is found to be abusing or violating their account in any way whatsoever they will either be warned or banned from using the service as outlined by these rules.
