The Road to Series 2 continues! We’re now showing the second half of the first series; with these 3 episodes produced by people other than FastFeet. This time round Adam ‘ManicVJ’ Bennett creates a slightly different but content packed episode featuring an e3 special, an amazing music video from Joe ‘DivRank’ Hernandez, more adverts and much much more.
These episodes are great but wait until series 2 comes along… we have FastFeet, ManicVJ, Shonic & CrimsonHedgie making the next series and that’s only some of the producers & staff! SEGASonic:TV Series 2 will show you what Sega & Sonic TV should be made of!

So I thought it was about time FastFeet Media produced some HD footage (more to come *hint*). Thanks to TheBuilder from soniconthenet.org who actually compiled together a special Sonic CD DVD (worth checking out), we took that and made it into HD (High Defintion) and thanks to our encoding technology these have to be the highest quality versions of the Sonic CD Opening and Ending videos, including some footage you may not have seen! 6 Videos below 3 Opening videos and 3 ending videos. So we added all of the music for the Sonic the Hedgehog games recently. Of course we cover Sega music too so we are proud to present (in association with RadioSEGA) pretty much every piece of SEGA music you would ever want and some extra!
I will say now that not much of it has been tagged, the Sonic music took long enough but if you fancy tagging 5,155 tracks, 320 albums and 20Gb’s worth of Sega music then please let me know! At least it’s there so you can download and listen to it. Anyways I’m off to edit some SEGASonic:TV (hehe), I’ll be back soon with more updates.

For once we’re staying slightly consistant with our podcasts as they are out every week at the moment. However I do have to say the first series will only be 10 episodes long so there’s only 2 more episodes left! But trust me series 2 will be coming very soon we just need a lil break whilst we push other projects forward.
Speaking of projects this episode is named the ‘project’ episode, largely because FastFeet Media and RadioSEGA have been announcing and showing off projects we’ve been working on recently. That and Project Needlemouse was announced last week too, this time I’m joined by Crim, Gavvie and SJSSF, so the regulars essentially. Stay tuned guys!

As promised some unseen footage that was originally going to make it on the SEGASonic:TV DVD. These are outtakes from the Chilli Dog Feature, so the clips we didn’t want you to see! So have a good ol’ belly laugh at me and my cameraman  Enjoy the vids as there’s more unseen footage as well as the rest of series 1 – the episodes that weren’t made by me…..

Well I’m fairly sure I can say this is an exclusive seeing as I haven’t seen an entire album from last years performances and of every performance at that. If you weren’t lucky enough to be at the first Summer of Sonic convention way back when in 2008, then you really missed out on some fantastic performances by the guests in attendence that day.
But worry no more as we’ve got the entire set of live stage performances (that have all been tagged and have album artwork!) from Bentley Jones, Richard Jacques & TJ Davis. The album totals 11 tracks and it also gives you a good idea of how ecstatic the audience and indeed the performers were on the day too!

Anyways to carry on our Summer of Sonic coverage I’m adding last years photos which aren’t on the site for some reason. Some fantastic shots in there and a good reminder of why the 2008 convention was great in it’s own right, credit goes to C.S.Baker for the photographs, cheers Baker!

It’s about time! Not only has Sega re-done their video logo which looks awesome as far as I’m concerned, but there is going to be a new Sonic the Hedgehog game and it’s going to be in 2D. Something us fans have been wanting for quite some time. My hopes? That it is a fully fledged game on 360/PS3 (as it will be HD apparently), perhaps 2.5D like Sonic Unleashed would be better in my opinion and a sprinkling of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles as playable characters bring back the classic Sonic 3 & Knuckles story and gameplay! SEGA – just please get the balance right from all your 20 Years of 3D and 2D experience. More to come soon…

To follow up the Summer of Sonic convention there is no finer way then having a podcast. But what makes this podcast special is that we gathered 7 people together at once, 6 of which attended Summer of Sonic.
Not only is this a ‘must download’ podcast but we have finally been joined by the likes of Elson Wong, Phil Sims and James Maloney – otherwise known as darkspeeds, Vger and JJ4eva in the community. So sit back and enjoy episode 7, 3 more left until the end of series 1!

Yes that’s right my Sonic-media hungry friends. Whilst SegaSonic:Radio recorded all 6 hours of the days events from the stage, it wasn’t in a good enough quality to simply hand over to you guys. So out of the kindness of my heart I went through the entire recording and re-compiled/edited it so it’s a bit more listener friendly shall we say.
Unfortunately there are some piano noises throughout the recording and there’s nothing we can do, blame Roareye from SSN for that one as he left his “musical” screensaver on! The recording includes the Bentley Jones Live performances, Nevermind the Buzzbombers, Sonic the Comic Q&A, Sumo Digital Q&A, the Sonic Hour (with cosplay) and DJ sets from Turbo, FastFeet, Bman and T-Bird. Around 6 hours long and roughly 300Mb. Finally if anyone wants it in 2 parts let me know and I’ll get my trusty FFM scalpel out. Enjoy!
