Yes, it’s finally here. I said we’d do a podcast and now I’ve had a bit of time to organise/set it up we’ve now got something for you all to listen to. At the moment you can download the first podcast of many to come, we’ll be adding a podcast feed for it very soon so you’ll be able to keep up with the podcast via iTunes and the like. We’ll also be making this a regular occurance (every week hopefully).

Each podcast you’ll find me (FastFeet) joined by staff old and new including ManicVJ, foreversonic, spawnofsonic and darkfox (and some surprise gustes too!). Each time you’ll find the newest Sega and Sonic music along with the latest news and happenings from around the community.

We’ve usually always had some sort of membership requirement for the downloads on FastFeet Media. However for the first time ever, I’ve made all of the downloads on the FTP Hub available to everyone. So whether you’re a member or not you can get downloading stuff quickly and easily and of course as it’s FREE.

So you all hereby have my permission to go nuts and download yourself stupid!

This album has been out for a while now but I finally got some time to add it recently. Dwelling of Duels is a website that picks a videogame series every month and makes new tracks out of them, but the genre is quite heavily based on rock, although not always. Back in November last year they did a Sonic the Hedgehog month and there were some absolute corkers of tracks in there.

Having just finished the first batch of videos to go into the SEGASonic:TV area of the website, the complete first series is now available to watch over at SEGASonic:TV.

What happened to SEGASonic:TV?

First of all a little update on SEGASonic:TV. Initially it was planned as a live television station, but the technology back then didn’t exactly make things possible. Instead I came up with the idea of making the TV show into a series with 6 episodes to a series. Me and many others (mainly Adam ‘ManicVJ’ Bennett and Dan Dyer) who created the first series which of course you can now view over at SEGASonic:TV.

Now though SEGASonic:TV will become our archive of videos that have been released by FastFeet Media. This now gives us the opportunity to give all of you guys a greater range of video as well as the usual reviews, features, playtests and community day videos to mention just a few. Above all though watching the videos is now easier than ever and is presented quite nicely too.

The soundtrack to Sonic Unleashed has been out for a short while now. Obviously I’m quite critical of soundtracks and the like, but for what it is the Sonic Unleashed (or Sonic World Adventure, wutever) soundtrack is very good and I think it is quite possible the soundtrack that I have listened to the longest before deciding I can’t stand it any longer, for a while at least anyway.

Some of the tracks such as the day stages are fantastic, they have a great tempo to them and have the style of drum ‘n’ bass, techno and some rock pieces too. Overall though they’re my favourite tracks.

Competition time!

First of all something you all may want to take note of is that Sega currently have a competition open to win 1 of 3 copies of the Planetary Pieces soundtrack

Over the course of the last few days I’ve been putting together the final few bits of the new look for FastFeet Media. If you look across all areas of the site they should all have a new skin and feel to them as such. For starters the FTP Hub/Downloads side looks tons better and so do the Forums! There’s only a handful of items left to do on the website and once they are complete all I will be doing is updating FastFeet Media and nothing but for quite some time to come.

So in short… keep an eye on FastFeet Media this week, the good times are about to start rollin’.
